Life - A Pleasure

Paris, somewhere in a small street, there is a tiny little restaurant. Painted blue, and jellyfish in the emblem. I was attracted by the simple beauty and the laughter of the people there. A place to stay.

Inside there were special coffee beans, lots of wood, and a smell of food that made me dizzy. A potpourri of the simplest but most delicious scents, you could smell the ingredients.

So I sat down in the warming sun at a very small table on a rickety but beautiful iron chair with a nice, soft felt pad. All around us people of all stripes, all chattering happily and toasting each other.

A simple, very fine wine, homemade bread, everything homemade, even the spices, only the fish, it was probably caught somewhere else ;-)

It is this simplicity, which is perfect in itself, that makes life so worth living. Not just in that little restaurant in beautiful Paris, but in every moment of our lives.

What matters. That's always easy. And good. For us.
